Grill packaging line
The designed and implemented grill packaging line is an automated production system that integrates all stages of the packaging process. The system utilizes roller and belt conveyors, ensuring stable product flow and high repeatability.
The system is designed for three-shift operation and is fully integrated with the existing plant infrastructure. Line performance depends on the configuration and model of the grill being packaged, allowing for flexible adjustment of process parameters to current production requirements.
The control system, based on a Siemens PLC and an HMI operator panel, enables recipe recording, quick program switching, and full control over operating parameters. The entire system is equipped with integrated presence and position sensors, as well as a vision system responsible for verifying package completeness.
Additionally, the line features a labeling module with the ability to print production data and barcodes, ensuring full traceability and compliance with logistics requirements.
The packaging line includes a set of interconnected devices responsible for key technological operations, such as:
- product weighing,
- automatic strapping,
- automatic carton folding,
- package closing and sealing.
An integral part of the installation is a palletizing robot responsible for automatically stacking cartons into stable stacks according to programmed palletizing patterns. The robot ensures high positioning precision, repeatability, and the ability to handle a variety of packaging formats.
The finished stacks are then transferred to an automatic wrapping machine, which secures them with stretch film. The wrapping process stabilizes the load, protects it during transport, and meets the logistical requirements for preparing pallets for shipment.
